More about Geoff

I have been working in financial services for the past 29 years, and providing advice to clients for 22 years. I wanted to be able to add to peoples lives by providing them with guidance about money.

What I most enjoy about my work is being able to take away the anxious uncertainty that people have with their financial situation.

When I meet people for the first time, I do stress that we are not investment gurus; we are financial coaches that will assist you in meeting your goals and enjoying your future.

It is important that the communication is two way, and for my clients let me know what is is that they want from the financial future. I will challenge them and i want them to challenge me

I enjoy helping people and I have had clients tell me “I don’t know how I would have coped without your help over all these years”. feedback like this make the job so worthwhile.

Geoff’s interest outside of work

Having escaped Sydney 26 years ago to marry a Newcastle girl, I now the Lake Macquarie Area. Newcastle and its surrounds offers me the opportunity to live life to the fullest, with nearby beaches that are without the crowds, life is so much more pleasant to deal with.

I have spent most of my life either playing or refereeing Rugby League. I had been a Board member of the Newcastle Rugby League Referees for 13 years, including 7 years as Chairman.

I am a tragic Parramatta supporter, having grown up in the glory days at Cumberland Oval. Despite my strong connection to rugby league,  I do love most sport.

The weekends these days are spent either catching up on the chores around the house and spending time with my family.
